This Fish Is Nicknamed The “Ball-Cutter” For Good Reason. Gentleman, You’ve Been Warned.
Nicknamed the “ball-cutter,” the pacu is a South American freshwater fish most commonly found in the rivers and streams throughout Brazil’s Amazon rainforest. While related to the meat-eating piranha, the pacu mainly uses its human-like teeth to chomp on floating fruits and nuts that drop from the trees in the Amazon.
But you don’t earn a nickname like “ball-cutter” unless you chomp on the wrong type of nuts . . . In fact, on a few occasions pecus have mistaken the testicles of male swimmers for floating nuts! As you might imagine, the results weren’t pretty.

Lesson of the day: Don’t feed the pacus – especially if you are a dude!
